I’ve created an online self-paced course that pair beautifully with your personalized one-on-one health coaching and/or personal training sessions.

Health Coaching Sessions

As your health coach and personal trainer, my number one goal is to make your life easier as you navigate your journey of creating healthy lifestyle habits.

During our health coaching sessions, I’ll help you formulate a plan of action to make your dream and vision for your healthy lifestyle a reality.  You’ll take the information you learn in the online courses in Wellness Abundance Club and apply what resonates with you to your life one step at a time.

I’ll guide you through the process trying mini-experiments to figure out what works and doesn’t work for you specifically.  This proven process of mini-experiments will help you find success along the way.

 
 
After high school, I allowed my eating habits to get out of control. I gained a lot of weight and lost all confidence in myself. I was embarrassed to hangout with old friends, I hated being in pictures, and feared running into people from my past. I also feared for my health, having a family history of heart problems. At my peak, I hit 222 pounds in August 2016. I went on a family vacation to Las Vegas and I was so embarrassed by how I looked in the pictures, I started looking for help. Luckily, I found Melissa King and thanks to her amazing health coaching and support, and the support of friends and family, I was able to shed 50 pounds in just a few months and get back down to a healthy weight. Personal Training Sessions

Strength Training + Cardio + Recovery = Well-rounded Workout Routine

A well-rounded workout routine gives you consistent energy levels, trains your body to burn fat efficiently, and builds lean muscle mass. This is exactly the type of program you’ll experience when you invest in personal training sessions with me.

Whether you’re training for an official 5K run or for life in your 40’s and beyond, I’ll create a personalized workout program that aligns with your fitness ability, values, and goals.  As your fitness level progresses so will your workouts.  Your workouts will align with your energy levels and mood with each personal training session.

I’ll be right by your side throughout your workout to make sure you have proper form for maximum results and protection from injury.  I might even jump in and do the workout with you.

Wellness Abundance Club Community of Support

You’ll be part of a community of like minded women traveling on a similar health journey as you.  We have a private community in the My Coach app where you can share inspiration, recipes, ask for help, and celebrate your wins.  Knowing that other women are experiencing the same health challenges as you (fatigue, extra weight, brain fog, moodiness, etc.) is comforting.  It’s refreshing knowing you have a community you can rely on for support, encouragement, and to celebrate your wins with you.

Melissa was fantastic. She was really kind and motivational, and I felt like she had some really great ideas. In addition, I think she did a good job not having us go from 0 to 100 and helped us make small, foundational changes that were sustainable. I thought the format (one group session/individual sessions) was really helpful too - the group sessions were a bit more motivational, whereas the individual sessions let you really delve into questions and reflect on what you could personally do. The facebook group was also a real bonus - it was really awesome seeing how everyone else was doing and having that peer support as well.

  • At Wellness Abundance Coaching, we’ll partner with you to create a meal plan that works for you and your family. We’ve found that co-creating a meal plan with our clients is more beneficial to them in the long run.

  • You don’t have to eliminate any foods if you don’t want to. While we encourage a whole food eating style, we also want to give you the opportunity to be flexible with your meals. Your coach will work with you to help you learn which foods will support your health goals best. We’ll teach you how to incorporate intuitive eating to support your health goals while at the same time enjoying the foods you love.

  • Wellness Abundance Club is designed to support you on your health journey by providing you with tools and resources that we believe will help you achieve your health and fitness goals. We’ve found that our clients find the most success when they have the freedom and flexibility to choose what feels right to them. Since it’s up to you utilize the tools and resources we provide as you see fit we cannot guarantee you’ll achieve your health and fitness goals.

  • You have access to the online courses and fitness videos for 6 months after the date you begin your coaching sessions.

  • We whole heartedly believe that investing in your physical and mental health should be a priority. We offer payment plans and different payment methods to give you flexibility. When you’re ready to join Wellness Abundance Club, Melissa will coordinate a payment plan with you that fits your needs.

  • Yes! You’re welcome to invest in additional coaching sessions. Just let Melissa know you’d like to invest in more coaching sessions and she’ll get you set up.

  • Yes! We offer an ongoing group health cprogram covering different health and fitness topics. All current Wellness Abundance Club members are invited to join all group health coaching programs.
